Panduit has made available its new Net-Verse Cabinets with a flexible design for applications that require scalability, security and cost efficiency in on premises and colocation/cloud data centre or enterprise deployments.

Complimenting the company’s line of configurable and energy efficient Net-Access Cabinets and featuring front and rear doors with a generous 69 per cent opening for optimised airflow, the Net-Verse is designed for applications that require optimal thermal management within the latest containment environments.

VIAVI Solutions has launched the T-BERD/MTS 5882 portable network tester, which covers a broad range of tests in an automated workflow. This lightweight, versatile tool can significantly reduce time in the field for technicians of all skill levels across hybrid workforces.

Attenuators are used to adapt the transmitted light power to the characteristics of the implanted receiver. The in-line fixed attenuators (OAF) offer excellent reliability and repeatable amount of light loss (attenuation) via a doped fiber. This results in wavelength independent and stable attenuation values for typical wavelength bands used in telecommunication applications (1260-1360 and 1460-1580 nm). They are suitable for optical power up to 20dBm.

Anritsu Corporation has launched a new 2x2 MIMO Measurement Software MX886200A-010 option for its MT8862A Wireless Connectivity test set, allowing it offer support for evaluating 2x2 MIMO WLAN equipment.

CommScope has upgraded its microwave antenna portfolio with the introduction of two new long-haul antenna product lines – USX and HX – into its Sentinel and ValuLine ranges. These are designed to ultimately replace the company’s existing long-haul antennas, providing next generation performance for cellular, broadcast, telecom and private networks.

Now available from ADVA is the ConnectGuard cloud software, which is designed to deliver virtualised encryption in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Based on the company’s Ensemble Connector, ConnectGuard cloud features military-grade encryption and zero touch provisioning capabilities to allow customers to roll out secure cloud connectivity to thousands of endpoints within minutes.  The company says that ConnectGuard Cloud has been specifically engineered for this task.

Anritsu Corporation has released the latest firmware for its Network Master Pro MT1000 portable handheld tester for evaluating the transmission quality of different communications networks operating at speeds from 10Mb/s to 100Gb/s. The company says that this now makes it the ‘world’s smallest-in-class’ handheld tester supporting 100Gb/s with eCPRI/RoE and high-accuracy delay measurement functions.

Panduit Europe has launched a new range of fibre optic cassettes with universal polarity, thereby eliminating the need to deploy different cassettes or patch cords to maintain proper transmit-to-receiver continuity throughout a system.

The internal wiring of universal cassettes allows for use of a single cassette and patch cord on each end of a traditional cassette-trunk-cassette link. The cassettes are available in the HD Flex system, QuickNet MTP system, and QuickNet SFQ Series MTP system, enabling deployment in various applications.

Optelian has introduced the MPX-9103 100G hardened (OSP compliant) muxponder, which is designed for 5G upgrades, remote business services access and fibre deep architectures where 10G service growth is paramount.

CommScope has demonstrated augmented reality (AR) capabilities with its imVision automated infrastructure management solution which will soon allow customers to ‘see into their local area networks.
