Introduction

While chip shortages and supply chain issues have been big news over the past two years, one of the other major challenges affecting telecoms is the shortage of skilled staff throughout the supply chain. Our previous webinar in the ‘Bridging the skills’ gap series focused on the recruitment process and how to retain members of the team once you have them on board. This webinar focuses on how the telecoms sector is addressing the skills issue, looking in particular at the kind of accredited training available and how apprenticeship schemes can prove valuable to operators, installers and ISPs.
