Polymicro Technologies, a subsidiary of Molex, has announced improvements to its FDP optical fibre. The latest enhancements improve solarisation of the fibre in deep UV (ultra-violet) applications (190 – 325 nm).

'The introduction of fibre FDP revolutionised UV applications. We are pleased to bring customers enhanced FDP fibre with even better qualities to withstand UV exposure,' said Teodor Tichindelean, global product manager.
