MARTINSRIED, GERMANY – By creating the position of Vice President Sales, AMS-CEO Jan Meise is positioning the company for continued substantial growth: “Starting immediately, Klaus Maier will be coordinating the extensive sales activities of our large, international sales team, distributed over seven locations”, commented Meise, at the announcement of the new structure. “With his many years of sales expertise, his solid background in our core competencies and his career history at AMS, Maier will have an important and immediate impact.”
Oliver Schabel will be taking on the challenges of Maier’s previous position as Regional Sales Director Central Europe. Schabel has proven success in a number of sales positions, mainly in the area of sensor technology. At AMS he will now be responsible for the sales team working with Central European customers.
The sales activities in AMS Technologies’ Scandinavian branch are also under new management: In the Stockholm office Anders Wenell has been appointed as the new Regional Sales Director for the Nordics. The experienced sales professional will dedicate a good part of his activities to further increasing AMS Technologies’ success in delivering customer-specific solutions.
