STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – The innovator in Network Lifecycle Management, Digpro, has been selected by the Munkfors Metro Network in Sweden to provide the geographic information system dpCom for their fiber networks. With dpCom installed, the municipality can better cooperate with other municipal network owners in the immediate area.

Munkfors Metro Network has chosen to install Digpro's network operating system, dpCom. With the new operating system, Munkfors Metro Network will be able to create better cooperation with more municipal network owners in its immediate area. In addition, they will also get an increased overview of their fiber network, streamlined workflows and better documentation.

"With Digpro's solution, we hope to improve the efficiency of our work processes and increase collaboration with more municipal network owners in our area. Through improved collaboration, we hope to be part of the work to secure the expansion of the fiber network throughout Sweden, says Kerstin Sandberg in Munkfors Metro Network.

Digpro's dpCom is an operating system that puts the network on the map. Modern and comprehensive GIS functionality combined with an entirely web-based facility registry that includes advanced geographic maps, schematic diagrams, topologies and plant data. dpCom looks after all the constituents of the network. The system has an efficient toolbox, ranging from cables, pipes and nodes to bird watching down to detailed fiber information and logical connections.

"It is very pleasing that Munkfors Metro Network chose our solution to ensure efficient processes and increased collaboration with network owners and industry actors in the immediate area. We believe in our platform as an appropriate tool for multiple network owners to acquire and share information. The usefulness of seeing and managing all the life cycles of a single system creates a great value for our customers, "says Joel Pirard, Marketing Manager, Digpro.
