EPIC Meeting on Fiber Sensors at HBK FiberSensing

Due to the continuing rapid growth in demand for EM immune, electrically passive, and very accurate sensors with very small dimensions, a fast evolution in the field of sensors based on optical fibres has been noticed. Emerging applications include temperature and vibration sensors, humidity measurements, predictive maintenance, measurement of electrical and magnetic quantities, rail transport, product pipelines characterisation and leakages detection or structural health monitoring. 

Online seminar urges ‘unleash potential of optoelectronics, drive standards and industry advancement

The 2021 Online Seminar of the Global Optoelectronic Industry has been held. Co-hosted by the International Photonics & Electronics Committee (IPEC) and China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) and co-organized by the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC), the theme was ‘unleash the potential of optoelectronics, drive standards and industry advancement.’
