Infinera appoints James Laufman as General Counsel

Infinera, a provider of Intelligent Transport Networks, has announced it has appointed James Laufman as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary as of October 20, 2014.

Mr Laufman most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel of Marvell Semiconductor, which he joined in 2008. Prior to that, Mr Laufman served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Integrated Device Technology, from 1999 to 2008.

Prior to that, he served as Vice President and General Counsel of Rohm Corporation from 1994 to 1998. From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Laufman worked as an Associate Attorney at the Berliner Cohen and Popelka Allard law firms specialising in the litigation and resolution of commercial transaction matters.

Mr Laufman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance (cum laude) from California State University, Chico and a Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
