Microlease to distribute Sycatus optical test instruments in Europe

HARROW, UK – Microlease, world leader in test equipment sourcing, has added a new manufacturer to its distribution product portfolio: SYCATUS, specialists in noise and delay measurement in optical transmission components and systems. Under the agreement Microlease will sell SYCATUS optical test solutions throughout Europe.

Commenting, George Acris, Director of Marketing, Europe at Microlease, said, “The addition of SYCATUS demonstrates how Microlease is evolving to provide customers with more options to acquire the test technology that they need. SYCATUS specialises in relative intensity noise (RIN), optical frequency/phase noise and optical delay measurement for high speed optical transmissions and sensing applications. Its systems are aimed at laser manufacturers and optical equipment as well as system manufacturers of singlemode and multimode fiber.

Microlease already offers new instruments as Keysight Authorised Technology Partner and Premium Distributor in the UK and Italy, as Viavi Premier Solutions Partner in the UK and Germany and as GW Instek Authorised Distributor in the UK, Ireland, Italy and Spain, among an increasing portfolio of brands.
