Tektronix, a multi-vendor service provider of instrument calibration and repair, has announced the expansion of its National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accreditation at its Bangalore service laboratory.

The company says the expanded NABL accreditation means that Tektronix can now perform added electrical and RF calibration. Additionally, the company can now provide accredited onsite calibration for all parameters covered under the NABL laboratory scope.

The expanded capabilities will provide customers in the semiconductor, electronics and electrical manufacturing, telecom manufacturing, industrial, medical equipment manufacturing, IT service delivery and R&D sectors with a single source calibration provider for their entire instrument inventory.

'This expanded NABL accreditation is yet another step we have taken to show that we are committed to significant expansion in India,' said Bernadette Duffy, general manager for service at Tektronix. 'With our comprehensive network of labs in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, we can now provide customers with increased service delivery options and a complete calibration solution.'
