Connectorised FDN closure

The new Connectorised FDN closure from HellermannTyton has been designed to offer engineers in access networks the benefits of speed and ease when connecting customers to their fibre optic network.

It is available pre-configured with LC Duplex of SC Simplex connectors to allow for quick connection or disconnection using pre-configured fibre pigtails or field terminated connectors.

The closure can be fitted with a splitter cassette option if required. The high drop port count means that it is particularly suited for use in FTTH access networks. The base configuration of the FDN has 58 round ports and an oval port for loop through applications. The oval shape ensures that the FDN can be used where space is restricted.

The closure cover, which can be fitted with a pressure valve, is available in three different lengths depending on the maximum number of trays required.
