MDU Fibre Enclosures for every size of Building – S5, S3 and S1

The range of MDU enclosures from HellermannTyton provide high fibre capacity and flexibility within the multi dwelling unit (MDU) . The range has been designed in a variety of sizes to service the varying sizes of apartment blocks or office buildings. The S5, the largest enclosure in the range, offers up to 432 fibres or 96 connectorised fibre ports. The S3, the middle sized enclosure offers up to 96 fibres or 24 connectorised ports. The S1, the smallest in the range provides 8 connectorised fibre drops, designed for the smaller residential or building unit.

MDU S5 - Up to 432 Managed Fibre Splices

A wall mountable enclosure manufactured from V0, UV rated polycarbonate designed for both internal and external applications within the last mile of the FTTx network.

The enclosure can be fitted with either the 250µm or the 900µm HellermannTyton IR fibre management systems or a combination of both offering the adaptability of a wide range of point to point (P2P)  or Point to Many Point (P2MP) applications.

Both IR fibre management systems can be supplied with a range of pre-installed splitter assemblies reducing installation times and simplifying the connection process.

MDU S3 - Small Enclosure with up to 96 Splices

A wall mountable enclosure manufactured from V0, UV stable polycarbonate designed for both internal and external applications.

The enclosure can be fitted with the 250um HellermannTyton IR fibre management system and offers the adaptability of Point to Point (P2P) or Point to Many Point (P2MP) applications.

The IR fibre management systems can be fitted with a maximum of 3 off tray splitters releasing all of the tray space for splicing.

A wide range of splitter assemblies can be pre-installed reducing installation times and simplifying the connection process.

MDU S1 - 8 Customer Connection Points

A wall mountable enclosure manufactured from V0, UV stable polycarbonate designed for both internal and external applications and can be building/facade or pole mounted and provides 8 SC or LC simplex customer connection points. The enclosure has provision for a moulded customer logo if required.
